Introduction to Batteries

Introduction to Batteries

There are good batteries and cheap batteries. We sell only the good ones, as we have had a number of reliability problems with cheaper versions. If you are wanting long term service from your scooter or powerchair then a cheap battery is a false economy. Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) or Gel batteries from Haze are a product in which we have full confidence.

Almost all scooters and powerchairs need two 12 volt batteries. However the smaller the machine the smaller the ampage of your batteries. To be sure of getting the right ones, check the amp rating - or if stuck, measure a battery (length, height and depth) and check against our size information. Or email us with the model of the scooter. To email us click here.
