The Elev8 portable mobility hoist is an excellent new innovation designed to make it easier to lift your mobility equipment to car boot level for transportation. It works especially well with folding scooters which are quite heavy for many people to lift. It is very lightweight and easy to use, so is ideal if you don’t want or need a hoist permanently fitted to your vehicle.

The lightweight platform plugs into your scooter or powerchair and raises up to 50kg at the push of a button, making transfers in and out of your car boot much easier. Safety straps, locking castors and stabilising legs keep the load secure, while the hand control is illuminated for ease of use. The Elev8 is also available with a fitted lithium battery (at extra cost) so that it can be used to lift any heavy object, making it suitable for anybody who is prone to back pain or who finds lifting heavy objects difficult.
